Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of stage plays. Silk was a small model in a commercial. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor's' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk is famous for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
